Salter Labs I-Guard™ Valved Aerosol Delivery System (VADS) for Adult and Pediatric Patients.  A combination of Salter Labs Nebulizers coupled with specially designed and constructed masks, to diminish aerosolized medication entering a patient’s eyes.

Salter Labs® has assembled a unique Aerosol Delivery System for adult and pediatric patients that incorporates the performance benefits of the 8900 Series and NebuTech®HDN® hand held small volume nebulizers coupled with special masks for an improved aerosol delivery system. The Salter nebulizer of your choice easily attaches and fits securely to the special design adult or pediatric size mask. The soft, clear Elongated Style masks have been carefully constructed with special micro vented exhalation ports (MVP) to aid in the medication delivery to the patient’s nose and mouth while diminishing incidence of the aerosol inadvertently getting to the patient’s eyes.

A caregiver can readily hand hold or adjust the elastic headstrap fit to ensure optimum treatment effectiveness. The Salter nebulizers’ unique spill proof features allow them to be set aside temporarily without fear of a costly or messy medication spill.

This medication delivery system may be driven by piped wall source gas, compressed gas or the Salter AIRE Plus™ portable treatment compressor...resulting in cost effective, optimum treatment efficiency.
